STEM FOR FUTURE
STEM for future aims at developing among young people an increased knowledge and culture about new professional opportunities enabled by technology, through a set of learning opportunities targeted at enhancing their STEM skills, by non-traditional learning methods. The project will involve directly some 100 students, male and female, attending upper secondary schools (age 16-19), at the dawn of a choice deeply affecting their future. It will also involve teachers, families, and a number of public and private actors in partner territories.
ACTIVITIES
designing and implementing 4 local national summer camps and one international camp, to introduce youngsters to STEM-related subjects
incremental process of evaluation and review of training & guidance activities
collection and description of experiences, best practices and impact assessment findings
design of a methodological tool for assessing the skills and impact of STEM training
facilitating the development of an extended network to promote the advancement of youngsters of both genders in STEM education and career
